March 27, 2015 Nathan Rogers

Talent and the advertising bug must run in the Hester family. Six ADDY awards, which recognize the very best in the OKC advertising market, involved three Hesters: The HD team of Papa Hester, Mama Hester and Little Boy Hester.

The ADDY is an American Advertising Award. It’s an industry-recognized high-five. This competition at the local level recognizes the 2014 champions of OKC advertising. A record-setting number of entrants totaled more than 1,000.

For annual report design “Oklahoma Proud” for Tinker Federal Credit Union, Hester Designs took home a bronze ADDY.

Voice over actor Jenny Hester, who is also Jeff’s wife, brushed elbows with four ADDY winners. In the following, you can hear Jenny in action.

Ozarka’s “H2O that is MIO!” received a silver award and Trotter Overhead Door’s “Life’s Best Moments” a bronze. The collaboration of Cryder Marketing + Advertising and Tanner Herriot Productions resulted in three wins in the category of local campaign. Jenny is the voice talent on two.

That’s Jenny dancing around as a happy mom among the ocean-themed mascots and vibrant kids in this Ocean Dental Summer TV spot. Kudos to Ackerman McQueen for this bronze award in the category of Visual Animation or Special Effects.

Also in the category of Visual Animation or Special Effects, Garman Productions, LLC received a gold award for “You Love To Read.” Gold entries travel forward to a regional level of competition. Top winners there compete nationally. This spot is for the Okla. Dept of Rehabilitation Services Okla. Library for the Blind & Physically Handicapped. Voiceover by Jenny Hester Voice Over.

That’s six, proud high-fives for the Hester Family.

It takes a village to tell a city about all the great things that keep it humming. HD congratulates its peers honored with a 2014 win, from the small, specialized firms like ourselves to the full-service ad agencies. There’s a lot of talent right here in OKC.

Hester Designs uses the magic of graphic design to meld images + words + ideas into stunning graphics and websites that communicate effectively. We value a stylized simplicity that cuts through clutter and gets right to the point.
