A few web terms you may need a simple explanation to;
- Domain = the main sign that people see
- DNS = the switchboard used by the domain name to route information (on a list) to email, web traffic, etc.
- Website = Software and code designed and built to represent your brand.
- Hosting = The online server space the website sits on.
- Secure Certificate (or SSL) = Added encryption that displays the “lock” in the browser. This is now required by Google and Apple, and your site gets flagged suspicious without it.
